A Long Hiatus

I took a much needed break from blogging. I say much needed but it’s not like I was writing a blog post ever day. ( A little humor for you)

I don’t really have a reason as to why I felt the need to no longer write, but at the beginning of Covid I lost my amazing grandmother. Who I love so dearly, I slowly became unmotivated and gave myself unnecessary pressure to do things that weren’t coming to me naturally. My creative juices were at an all time low and I could tell I needed a break from something, so I chose this.

During this long time away, we did a bit of traveling. My husband and I went to Disney World. Which was honestly the best trip I have ever had. As a child I always wanted to go there and to Universal Studios Orlando and to be completely honest I hate the heat but I would do it all over again. We traveled with my husband side of the family and went to Montana. The whole family went ziplining and I was able to conquer a fear of mine which was a double whammy we had such a great time together.

The holidays came around and we celebrated them with our family. However, we spent most of our time at home in Vegas and it was such a cozy holiday season.

We are just starting our spring season and even though I was away from blogging it doesn’t mean I wasn’t away from doing other things. I still have my small business that I am constantly focusing on growing. I have added my headbands to a store which was a big deal to me and in the finishing stages of designing my own headbands.

I am excited for all new things but overall I am looking forward to being more consistent on here.

Here are some snippets of our last two trips!

How to stay productive

It is so easy to get wrapped up on your day to day life, or the holiday season. It’s also very easy to get lazy. I personally have been in a slump lately and I realized I was not completing my day to day task as I should. I decided to make a change and here are some things I have used to keep me accountable for a better productive day.

Daily To Do List

A daily to do list will help you categorized which items need to be done right away and not just rely on your memory. I use to use my iPad as a daily planner but the hassle of turning it on and checking my list was harder than putting pen to paper. I am currently using a daily to do list I found on amazon (Click Here).

Monthly Calendar

Monthly Calendars are great to get big picture plans on your agenda. Such as birthdays, dinner dates, vacations and any other event. I generally used my iPad as a monthly calendar because it helps us keep track of what’s coming in the future weeks. Plus it is easy to erase if plans get cancelled. (Click Here)

Monthly goals

Depending on your monthly goals, it will determine how motivated you will stay to reach all your goals each week. When setting goals I like to break it down by week. So I know how much I need to accomplish at the end of every week but also if I slack off it gives me the opportunity to know how much I need to make up to make sure I reach my goal.

Limited Screen Time

I realized that I was spending way to much time on social media. I would go down the endless spiral of scrolling. They say that the healthy amount of time behind a screen besides work is about 2 hours or less. I changed the settings on my phone and create app limits, which mostly included Instagram and Tiktok.

I have listed here the items I have used this year to stay on top of things. I use it in for both aspects of my life, personal and business! I really hope this post helps you stay organized and helps kick of 2022 with a bang!

If you have any other methods on staying organized! Please let me know in the comments below!

Light RX Body Contour

As some of you may or may not know I have been receiving treatments for almost 2 months with Light Rx. I decided to do the body Contour treatments that mostly consisted of the Venus Bliss, and Venus Legacy . I went in with the mindset of even if it improves the appearance of my stomach just a little I will be extremely happy. However, it did more than that. However, let me take a moment to a explain the three treatments I received.
